Your pocket change is used monthly by the Executive Mercy Committee to distribute food to those in need. Please continue to deposit your change in the wall containers around the church. Coin canisters to collect your change at home are also available at the Altadena House.

Restoration Academy needs females to teach a devotion on Wednesdays bi-weekly to jr high and high school grades. Basically you would lead a devotion to whatever grade you feel comfortable teaching an hour every other Wednesday. You provide the curriculum or course study in whatever you would like. I also need a male to do this with me for 11th grade boys. I am able to do this a few times but I need someone to fill in for me once a month. Cornerstone needs men or women to lead a Chapel for 20 minutes on any Wednesday that you are available. You can choose to do this once or every other week. They divide their chapel into K-4 through 3rd grade and 4th through 8th grade. I am teaching the 4th-8th grade every second Wednesday of each month and would love for someone to come along side of me that day to handle the K-4 through 3rd grade. My gifts do not lend me to the younger children but I am sure you know someone who would do a great job leading the young people through a devotion or Bible story. Teachers will be there for discipline and crowd control. You can also feel free to do this any Wednesday you would like. The devotion is held every Wednesday 4th-8th graders at 8:00 and K-4-3rd graders at 8:30. Please pass this along to others or feel free to sign up if you think this is an opportunity for you.
